Wow good article. I especially loved the part about telling a story with your face/picture. I feel like that is so important in the world we live in today. People want to be able to associate with the people that are writing the article or whom the people are that they are reading the article about. I was reading online somewhere, forget exactly where, about how most people will read an article if it has an image but not so much if it didn’t. Make perfect sense which is why both PR agents and journalists both have to be wise about using images.

Whether or not it is a copy cat idea, combining all of our favorite platforms and combining them, its still a huge success. I swear, I can’t go anywhere without hearing about pinterest and that’s because they do a great job of marketing their product (another thing regarding PR) and they make sure people are talking about them at all times. I don’t even use the site and I know this site is obviously doing a lot of things right. Like you said, they improved on these sites and now everybody is talking about them. Good for them.
